(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Myung Sub Byun = Hanwha Construction Division and POSCO E&C plan to begin sales of "Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station" next month in the Ganseok-dong 311-1 area of Namdong-gu, Incheon.
The project is a redevelopment of the area surrounding Sangincheon Elementary School in Ganseok-dong 311-1.
The complex will comprise 24 buildings, ranging from four basement levels to 35 above-ground floors, offering a total of 2,568 units with exclusive areas between 39 and 84 square meters. Of these, 735 units will be available for general sale.
Residents will have access to Incheon Subway Lines 1 and 2, and can easily reach the Seoul Metropolitan Area’s First and Second Ring Expressways and the Second Gyeongin Expressway via Gyeongin-ro. Express buses provide access to Hapjeong and Hongdae Entrance in Seoul in about an hour, making commuting to the capital feasible.
The Incheon City Hall Station is scheduled to be connected to the GTX-B line, a metropolitan express railway. Once operational, travel from Incheon National University Station to Seoul Station is expected to take approximately 30 minutes.
The development is classified as a "Chopuma" complex, a Korean term referring to residential areas adjacent to elementary schools. Middle and high schools are also concentrated within a one-kilometer radius, and residents can access the educational district in nearby Guwol-dong.
Major amenities such as large shopping centers, Incheon City Hall, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency, Ganseok 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, Incheon Culture & Arts Center, and Gachon University Gil Medical Center are located nearby.
Ihwa Children’s Park is situated directly in front of the complex, with Central Park (3.9 km in length), small parks, and Manwolsan Mountain also in close proximity.
Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station is expected to serve as a central axis in transforming the area into a new residential district, alongside previously supplied projects such as Hanwha Forena Incheon Guwol, Hillstate Incheon City Hall Station, and Incheon City Hall Station Hanshin The Hue.
The complex will feature a variety of community facilities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life, as well as customized offerings tailored to residents’ lifestyles. The site will be pedestrian-oriented, with all parking located underground and no vehicles on the surface.
Jang Young-gi, Head of Sales at Hanwha Construction Division, said, “With Incheon recently excluded from regulated areas, expectations for a balloon effect are rising. The combination of a large-scale branded complex and the benefits of the GTX-B line makes this an attractive option for both end-users and investors.”
The model home for Forena The Sharp Incheon City Hall Station will open in Incheon later this month, with move-in scheduled for August 2029.
