(Sejong=Yonhap Infomax) Jun Hyung Park = The National Data Agency announced on the 21st that it has completed the '2025 Population and Housing Census', which surveyed approximately 5 million sample households—about 20% of all households—from October 22 to November 18.
In certain cities, counties, and districts where there was a shortfall in enumerator recruitment, the survey period will be extended and is expected to conclude within this month.
The agency highlighted that this year's census expanded survey items to reflect various social changes and increased the number of foreign language questionnaires to 20, thereby enhancing participation among foreign households.
An Hyeong-jun, Commissioner of the National Data Agency, stated, "The collected data will be processed under a rigorous security system, and the results will be published at the end of November next year," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure that accurate statistical data is returned to the public in the form of necessary policies."
