HD Hyundai Samho Secures Order for Four VLCCs Worth 762.7 Billion Won

(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Jong Hwa Han = HD Hyundai Samho, a leading South Korean shipbuilder under HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, announced on the 21st that it has secured an order for four very large crude carriers (VLCCs) valued at 762.7 billion won ($570 million).

The contract, placed by a European shipowner, represents 10.89% of HD Hyundai Samho's total sales in the previous fiscal year.

According to the company, the vessels are scheduled for delivery by August 13, 2029.
