(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Kyu Sun Lee – This week (November 24–28), South Korea’s initial public offering (IPO) market will see cosmetics brand Aromatica debut on the KOSDAQ, the country’s tech-heavy stock exchange. AIMEDBIO, a biotechnology firm, and UK-based Teraview Holdings will open IPO subscriptions for retail investors, while eight companies—including shipboard cable manufacturer TMC—will conduct institutional investor bookbuilding.
According to the Yonhap Infomax calendar on the 23rd, Aromatica, an aromatherapy-based cosmetics brand, is set to list on the KOSDAQ on November 27. As South Korea’s first-generation clean beauty brand pioneering organic and vegan cosmetics, Aromatica has set its IPO price at 8,000 won ($6.75) per share.
Retail investors will also have opportunities to participate in IPO subscriptions. AIMEDBIO, a biotech company specializing in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) technology, will accept general subscriptions on November 24. The company drew attention in October after signing a technology transfer deal worth up to 1.4 trillion won ($1.18 billion) with Germany’s Boehringer Ingelheim. Its IPO price is set at 11,000 won ($9.30) per share.
Teraview Holdings, the first UK-based company to seek a KOSDAQ listing, will also open retail subscriptions on November 24. The company manufactures terahertz-based precision measurement equipment and aims to establish South Korea as a global business hub, targeting advanced manufacturing clients such as HBM. The IPO price is 8,000 won ($6.75) per share.
Institutional investor demand forecasting is also active. TMC, a manufacturer of specialty cables for ships, and digital earth services provider Aegis will conduct bookbuilding from November 24 to 27.
Quadmedicine, a medical device company specializing in microneedle technology, will hold its institutional bookbuilding from November 24 to 28.
PESCARO, a vehicle software security technology firm, will begin its bookbuilding on November 24, while Acryl, an AI adoption and GPU optimization service provider, will start on November 25.
Nara Space Technology, an aerospace company specializing in satellite manufacturing and operations, and Semifive, a semiconductor design platform operator, will conduct bookbuilding from November 26.
RGNOMICS, a biotech company developing RNA-based cancer therapeutics, will begin its institutional demand forecasting on November 27.
