(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Nam Kyoung Hwang — President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating for state affairs reached 55.9%, according to a public opinion poll released on the 24th.
Polling agency Realmeter conducted its third-week November survey from November 17 to 21, targeting 2,523 eligible voters aged 18 and above nationwide. The results showed a 1.4 percentage point increase from the previous week, with positive assessments of President Lee's performance at 55.9%.
Specifically, 46.4% of respondents said he was "doing very well," while 9.5% said he was "doing fairly well."

President Lee's approval rating had declined to 54.5% last week but rebounded within a week.
Realmeter attributed the rise in support to economic and diplomatic developments, including the increase in South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index and the conclusion of South Korea-US tariff negotiations.
In a separate survey on party support, the Democratic Party recorded 47.5%, up 0.8 percentage points from the previous week, while the People Power Party rose 0.6 percentage points to 34.8%.
The gap between the two main parties widened slightly to 12.7 percentage points from 12.5 percentage points in the previous survey.
Other parties polled as follows: Reform New Party at 3.8%, Cho Kuk Innovation Party at 2.9%, and Progressive Party at 1.1%.
The presidential approval survey was conducted among 2,523 voters aged 18 or older nationwide, with a response rate of 4.8% and a margin of error of ±2.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
The party support survey was conducted over two days, November 20–21, with 1,004 eligible voters, a response rate of 3.7%, and a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
Both surveys were carried out using a 100% wireless random digit dialing (RDD) automated response system. For detailed results, refer to the website of the National Election Survey Deliberation Commission.
