HL D&I Halla Wins 453.1 Billion Won 'The Hyundai Busan New Construction Project'

(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Myung Sub Byun = HL D&I Halla Co., Ltd. [014790] announced on the 24th that it has secured a 453.1 billion won ($347 million) contract for the construction of 'The Hyundai Busan', commissioned by Hanmoo Shopping.

'The Hyundai Busan' will be located in the special planning zone of Eco Delta City, Gangseo-gu, Busan. The project covers a land area of 86,015 square meters (approx. 26,020 pyeong) and a total floor area of 198,781.11 square meters (approx. 60,131 pyeong), comprising one basement level and four above-ground floors. The complex will house retail, educational and research, and sports facilities. The construction period is set at 23 months from the groundbreaking date.

HL D&I Halla previously constructed Hyundai Department Store's Daegu and Pangyo branches, as well as Hyundai Outlet's Songdo and Namyangju locations. The company also built Hyundai Department Store's new headquarters in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, featuring six basement levels and 14 above-ground floors.

An HL D&I Halla official stated, "We will continue to leverage our advanced construction capabilities to collaborate with high-quality private sector clients in the building sector."

Meanwhile, shares of HL D&I Halla closed at 2,560 won on the day, up 1.37% from the previous session.
