(Seoul=Yonhap Infomax) Hak Seong Kim = Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co. (KRX: 009150), a leading South Korean electronic components manufacturer, announced on the 25th that it has promoted two Executive Vice Presidents and six Executive Directors in its annual executive reshuffle.
The newly promoted Executive Vice Presidents are Kim Hyun-woo and Lee Chung-eun. The six new Executive Directors are Na Jun-bo, Shin Seung-il, Yang Woo-seok, Yang Jin-hyuk, Jung Jung-hyuk, and Heo Jae-hyuk.
This year’s promotions total eight, down by two compared to last year’s ten.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics emphasized that the leadership reinforcement is based on a performance-driven approach, aiming to secure best-in-class products and technological capabilities necessary to overcome management uncertainties and ensure sustainable growth.
The company added that it has selected talent evenly across key business areas to drive differentiated product development.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to soon assign new executive roles and implement an organizational restructuring.
Meanwhile, President and CEO Jang Deok-hyun will continue to lead the company for a fifth consecutive year since his appointment in December 2021.
